COLOSSIANS 3: 3, 4

I. THE REASONS WHY OUR AFFECTIONS, "MIND, THOUGHTS" NOT TO BE SET ON THINGS OF EARTH.
        A. "For ye are dead" or "you died" in Christ.
                1. Thought two fold - past action & continuous state.

Rom. 6:2 a. Our death to sin.
Gal. 6:14 b. Our death to world.
        B. Our hidden life in Christ.

John 3:8 1. Hidden in origin.
I John 3:1 2. Hidden also in it's final glory.
                3. He is hidden source of strength.

II. CHRIST GLORIOUS MANIFESTATION.
        A. When Christ who is our life.
                1. We have no other life.
                        a. "To whom shall we go Lord? Thou has the words."
                2. Not a way of life.
                        a. Not a pattern for life.
                        b. He is our life!
        B. Shall appear.
                1. Matt. 24:30  - Matt. 25:31

                3. Rev. 1:7
                4. Phil. 3:20,21
        C. Then shall ye also appear with Him in glory.
