"BEHOLD THE MAN"

I. CHRIST'S LIFE PROVED HE WAS A MAN.
        A. "Little Jesus meek & mild."
                1. Look with me at scene in Temple of Jerusalem.
        B. The bravest of men will back down before a crowd of people who are adverse to him.
                1. Behold Jesus as he speaks his truths before crowd ready to stone him.
                        a. "O faithless and perverse generation." Luke 9:41.
                        b. He upbraided them openly.

II. IN HIS SUFFERINGS HE PROVED HIMSELF TO BE A MAN.
        A. Eric Pedersen.

        B. They slapped and mocked Christ to His face It took a real man not to fight back.
        C. On the whipping post, it took a real man not to cry out in agony.
        D. Pilot upon seeing how Christ endured these sufferings cried out with astonishment,
           "Behold the Man."
