"A FEARFUL AWAKENING"

I. DEATH AND JUDGMENT, TWO REALITIES FOR SINNERS "It is appointed unto man once to die, and
   after that the judgment."
        A. Both inescapeable for sinner (wages of sin).
                1. Some think they can escape judgment.
        B. Both by-passed by believer.
                1. Death is to be present with the Lord.
                        a. "Fallen asleep."
                        b. "I am the resurrection and the life."
                2. Judgment for unbeliever.
                        a. John 3:18; 5:24

II. JUDGMENT SCENE (Rev. 20:11-15..
        A. Not a trial (votriwill not be asked questions).
                1. No chance to give a defense. "The books are opened and judgment comes from
                   these."
        B. Judgment is final!
                1. God's sentence cannot be appealed.
                2. God allows man to rebel now also satan.
        C. Judgment to be based on this --
                1. Works, degrees of guilt.
                2. Name in book of life.
