"A SURE FOUNDATION IN A CRUMBLING WORLD"

I. TREMBLING WORLD FOUNDATIONS.
        A. Fearfulness of an earthquake.
                1. That which is supposed to be solid begins to shake.
        B. Threat of War shaking world.
                1. $14,000,000 per hour, for weapons.
                2. War bound to be of such catastrophic dimension.
        C. Loosening morals shaking world.
                1. Disregard of vows.
                2. Breaking down of family life.
        D. Scientific advances shaking world.
                1. Man seeking to explore heaven.
                2. Science being turned against mankind.

II. THREE MOST COMMON REACTIONS.
        A. Hid eyes to conditions.
                Go mad.
        B. Seek diversion.
                pleasure mania.
        C. Hope that man will yet save himself.
                1. Hope unsupported by history.
                2. "Trust in Kennedy."

Ill. THE ONLY SURE FOUNDATION.
        A. Jesus Christ the same yesterday.
                1. Importance of unchanging standards.
        B. God still rules the world & will deliver.
                1. Israel first to recognize this.
                        a. Red sea Exodus 15.
                        b. The Lord reigneth. Let all the earth rejoice.
                        c. Song of choir this am. "And though the wrong seem oh so
                           strong, God is the ruler yet."
